"E=MC² actually means Energy = Milk * Coffee²"

If you're a Flash fan, it's a given you must have heard some sophisticated Physics talk. Well, what is physics? It's the study of matter + motion, and their behavior over speed and time. It's incredible to say that physics is the most fundamental principle that helps us understand how the universe functions! Here at Panther Creek's SNHS, we will explore mechanics, thermodynamics, atomic physics, electricity, and more! We also will look into how physics and engineering interrelate.

Robotics is a hot area in the industry. Developing good robots requires a combination of great mechanical design and strong programming backed by principles of Physics. High school robotics competitions such as FIRST and VEX are great places for young students to get introduced to these skills.

In this talk, we saw how laws of motion, Kinematics, and Calculus are used to make precise motions in robots. Teams that win state and national championships routinely use path-following algorithms from NASA and other Physics literature. We briefly examined the nature of these algorithms and watched videos on how such robots perform significantly better than most other robots at these competitions.
